Korean Medicine doctors are included in the category of medical personnel along with doctors under the Medical Act enacted in 1951 (Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Medical Service Act “Medical person” means “doctor, dentist, oriental doctor, midwife, nurse” who has received a license from the Minister of Health and Welfare.)
